Miss Rodeo USA Results

Oklahoma City- January 19, 2008;  After a week long competition, Anderson Ala. resident Kristin Scott was named Miss Rodeo USA 2008, Saturday afternoon during the 3rd go-round of The International Finals Rodeo at The State Fair Arena in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Scott, 22, is attending the North Alabama Wellness School of Massage and would like to become an Equine massage therapist.

During the competition, Kristin had the support of her mom, Diana and her sponsors,

headed by Sheriff Mike and Debbie Blakely of The Limestone Sherrifs rodeo for which she represented during the pageant.

Kristin had an advantage before the pageant began, Alabama resident, and Miss Rodeo USA 2003 Leslie Burgreen Waldrep was her coach. "Leslie was great to work with" said Scott.

For the next year, Kristin will travel the country representing the International Pro Rodeo Association attending rodeos, conventions, working with children and work with sponsors, such as Ariat International. with Ariat, the current Miss Rodeo USA is used in many major ad. campaigns, both print and video.
