A Note From The Publisher

     WorldOfRodeo.Com was founded in November of 2000, with the very simple goal of trying to keep our readers informed about events and news from around the World Of Rodeo.

     Since our inception we have grown significantly and have found a very loyal readership and are very thankful to each and every person who visits our site. We're not trying to be 'cutting edge' nor do we try to 'push the envelope', we simply want to  offer the rodeo fan a place where they can find out what's going on.

     2008 started out with a bang and in January and February things were as we say 'blowing and going', with the introduction of our new sites; www.worldofranching.com, www.worldofroping.com and the successful introduction of version 3.0 of our ranch management software system.

     Then unfortunately things slowed down when I had to  undergo eye surgery and have been forced to cut back the amount of time I could devote to the sites and I apologize for not having the same amount of news available as readily as we used to. It is our goal to use March to (as the comedian Larry the Cable Guy says) 'git er done' and starting Monday March 10, 2008 we will be actively providing more information and links and  news, not only about rodeo, but also about ranching life, livestock, breeding, western heritage, roping events, barrel racing etc.. 

     Susan Kanode's popular monthly column 'Walk This Way' is back detailing the adventures of Bad Company Rodeo's star bull 'Walk This Way', plus coming soon Susan will share the story of Wyoming Bucking Horse - 'Miss Congeniality' in a series of columns.

    We are also in the process of expanding our relationship with Versus for more video and information from the PBR and we are working to expand our video clip library, along with our classifieds and event calendar.
